ABOUT MICHAEL WILKINSON
Hi! My name is Michael Wilkinson and I'm the founder of Valley Voice Productions. It's my hope to provide your company with all its voiceover needs. I specialize in phone hold-time messaging, but offer an array of services. Please listen to the samples of my work thus far.
Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, I graduated from Boston University's College of Communication in 2005 with a major in broadcast journalism. I've worked in both radio and newspaper, so I have the ability to write quality copy for each medium.
I began my career at WARE-AM Radio in Palmer, MA. In 2005-06 I served as sports anchor/director and fill-in news anchor. From 2004-10 I was play-by-play announcer for the station's high school basketball and football broadcasts.
In 2006 I joined the sports department at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, MA. In four years as a correspondent and another five as a staff writer, I covered every high school sport as well as certain college sports. But my favorite assignment was writing a column from the 2015 Baseball Hall of Fame Induction of Red Sox legend Pedro Martinez.
